About the Role

As the Scrum Master for Percipio Health, you will play a critical role in driving the ongoing advancement of our technology. You will be responsible for establishing and improving lightweight, high-trust Scrum discipline for multiple product+engineering teams, improving sprint reliability, delivery quality, and stakeholder confidence in a regulated digital-health environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Continuously improve core Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retros) with a focus on clarity, momentum, and commitments the team can trust.
  2. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define, size, and prioritize a backlog that leads to predictable sprints and meaningful releases.
  3. Improve sprint reliability by coaching teams on estimation, scoping, and Definition of Done that balances speed with compliance and usability.
  4. Actively remove blockers — whether process, communication, or technical — escalating only when needed, resolving independently whenever possible.
  5. Track delivery signals (velocity, burndowns, sprint commitments vs outcomes) and convert them into simple, actionable insights for leadership.
  6. Coordinate dependencies across teams, leading in Scrum of Scrums, and build consistency with other delivery or release counterparts.
  7. Build working fluency in the product’s architecture, data flows, and deployment model so risks can be spotted early and technical conversations move faster.
  8. Champion high-quality increments over maximum output — usability, security, and reliability always win in health software.
  9. Drive and facilitate efficient product releases, coordinating efforts across various teams and disciplines to ensure frequent and rapid delivery of value to our users.
  10. Employ a Scrum-focused approach to facilitate company-wide initiatives, such as achieving HITRUST certification.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years as a Scrum Master with 3–5 total years in Agile delivery or facilitation roles.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing software, ideally in startups or fast-moving engineering teams.
  • Certification: CSM, PSM-I, or SAFe Scrum Master (one required, others a plus).
  • Comfort with tools like Jira for delivery and reporting — doesn’t matter which, you just need to ship and report simply.
  • Excellent communicator and facilitator, capable of influencing without authority, thriving in remote or hybrid collaboration.

Preferred skills

  • Health-tech product experience (telehealth, remote monitoring, population health, or EHR-connected platforms).
  • Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, or SaMD awareness a plus).
  • Async collaboration discipline (clear updates, concise summaries, structured execution).
  • Ability to introduce process that helps teams scale, not slow down.
  • Startup mindset: wear many hats, mission-oriented.
