AI-driven solutions dominated conversations and sessions at ViVE 2025, with many health systems actively seeking practical applications for AI that deliver measurable benefits and ROI. The industry has shifted from curiosity to implementation, and leaders are moving beyond pilot programs and into full-scale adoption. For example, one leading health system shared how it is expanding AI solutions to enhance insights, accelerate decision-making, and better support clinicians.

Health systems are putting clear emphasis on automation, predictive analytics, and AI-assisted decision-making to improve care efficiency and reduce clinician burden.

Here are four learnings from ViVE on how to make AI adoption a reality and a success for your organization.

1. Prioritize EHR-agnostic digital health solutions

Despite the industry’s progress on interoperability, data silos continue to be a roadblock for AI adoption. Many ViVE attendees voiced frustrations with fragmented data ecosystems that hinder seamless integration across EHRs, patient monitoring systems, and payer networks. The consensus? Health systems need digital health tech that provides seamless interoperability and EHR-agnostic AI solutions.

2. Move toward whole-person insights

Another recurring theme throughout the event was the growing priority of behavioral health integration within health systems. Many organizations are looking for scalable solutions to monitor and manage mental health conditions, including AI-powered patient assessments using tools like PHQ-9 and GAD-7. Whole-person insights — combining physical, behavioral, and social determinants of health — offer huge predictive value for providers and payers.

3. Use AI to improve patient-centricity and health equity

Discussions on health equity centered on how technology can bridge gaps in care rather than exacerbate them. There was a strong emphasis on expanding access to care for diverse populations, as well as a clear need for patient engagement strategies that extend beyond traditional portals and apps. Leveraging AI-driven personalization to meet patients where they are emerged as a key priority.

4. Align outcomes and value-based care

Health systems are under immense pressure to demonstrate financial sustainability and improved patient outcomes, especially as they continue to transition to value-based care models. They seek AI solutions that provide measurable impact through data-driven case studies, as these are more likely to gain adoption and deliver meaningful outcomes. The most compelling solutions showcased at ViVE were those that clearly articulated their ability to reduce readmissions, optimize workforce efficiency, and drive better chronic disease management.

Meet the AI expectation

If ViVE showed us anything, it’s that the healthcare AI revolution is here, but success depends on real-world implementation and measurable impact. Those who can execute on innovation will lead the way.

Percipio can help your organization meet this new expectation and leverage AI for earlier disease detection, proactive interventions, and improved clinical efficiency. To learn more, request a demo or connect with me on LinkedIn.
